About Exchange

Exchange – the act of giving and receiving – is central to knowledge mobilization at CIFAR. By connecting our research programs to global thought leaders outside of academia, we enrich research and stimulate new social, economic and technical innovations. We believe that targeted and customized engagements, early in a program’s life and sustained with regular interactions throughout a program’s term, have the most long-term – and potentially transformative – impact. Today, CIFAR focuses its knowledge mobilization in key sectors that align with CIFAR’s current portfolio of research programs: health, industry, government, and international development.
